STUDY CORRELATION AND PATH COEFFICIENT ANALYSIS FOR BARLEY UNDER SEED RATES

The research was applied at Station No. 1 belonging to the College of Agriculture, University Anbar, determine most appropriate traits for improving barley grain yield during season 2021-2022 by designing randomized complete blocks in split plots with three replications, purpose studying path way coefficient and its components five cultivars (Samir , Aksad 617, Amal, Buraq Abba 265) seed rates 120, 160 200 kg ha-1 were studied characteristics flowering, plant height, number tillers, area flag leaf, physiological maturity, crop growth rate, duration filling, spike length, spikes grains per spike. weight 1000 harvest index as a selective function yield. gave significant positive correlation seeding rate 120 direct effect tillers m-2, m-2 seeds on positively 0.982, 2.803 1.432, M-2 amounted 0.401 0.541 respectively, while biological index, which 1.626, 1.074, 0.218, 0.503 0.517 respectively.
